IT FEELS LIKE
You’re constantly spiraling about whether you’re doing this right—overthinking everything and never fully able to relax.
Every decision you make feels like a test of whether you’re doing enough. Your mind goes to the worst-case scenario, and you can’t seem to turn it off—terrified you’ll make a mistake or that something bad might happen.
It shows up in everything—deciding about childcare, how to feed your baby, navigating sleep challenges, what food or supplements to take during pregnancy.
The guilt creeps in, and you start to feel like you’re failing. You know something needs to change, but you keep ending up in the same place.
You start to notice yourself reacting in ways that you don’t want to–ways that feel familiar and can’t quite figure out where it’s coming from.
You find yourself comparing yourself to others, wondering why this feels so hard when it doesn’t seem this hard for everyone else.
You’ve always been the strong one.
But something feels different.
You don’t feel like yourself. You’ve always been the one who works hard, plans ahead, and holds everything together—the one who gets it right. And now you’re in a season where nothing is going the way you thought it would.
Whether you’re expecting or adjusting to motherhood, it feels so much harder than you expected. There’s so much pressure, so much uncertainty, and a constant stream of thoughts you can’t seem to turn off.
And it’s hard to admit, even to yourself, how much you’re struggling.
You might be wondering:
Why is this so hard for me?
Why can’t I relax or turn my brain off?
What if I’m not cut out for this?
Why can’t I just be present and enjoy this?
When does this start to feel easier?
Am I doing enough… or missing something?
Hi, I’m Jessica
Motherhood can change you in ways you didn’t expect—and not always in ways that feel good.
I believe that with the right support, you can move through this season without losing yourself in it. This is a space for you to softly land—where your body can settle and you can say the hard things out loud.
For the past decade, I’ve supported mothers through a transition they didn’t feel fully prepared for. I help you navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma—especially when it shows up as constant overthinking, overwhelm, falling into patterns you thought you’d outgrown, worrying about repeating what you experienced growing up, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
As a mom myself, I know how this can feel like too big of a challenge to carry on your own. As your compassionate thought partner, I help you make sense of what you’re feeling, untangle what’s been weighing on you, and take manageable, realistic steps toward the change you need in your life.
(Serving clients throughout San Mateo, Burlingame, Redwood City, the greater SF Bay Area, and California via telehealth.)
