The story behind

Nurture and Bloom

How It All Began

Jessica Sirias Vasquez, LMFT (#148078)

The journey to motherhood was something I longed for deeply, and yet, nothing could have prepared me for how overwhelming it would feel once I got there. I loved my baby — and I also felt like I was disappearing under the weight of this new era. Motherhood was everything I wanted, but it also cracked me open. It showed me how lonely and isolating this season can feel, whether you have support or not.

For the past 10 years, I’ve supported parents and young adults in the SF Bay Area through many different life transitions. From navigating college and early adulthood to welcoming a new child, I’ve seen how identity shifts, old patterns, and emotional overwhelm can emerge in any season of life. My own experience as a parent deepened my understanding of how essential it is to have a safe, compassionate space to process, reconnect, and remember who you are.

Through my personal healing, I realized that people need more than advice — they need a sanctuary to explore their identity, heal patterns that no longer serve them, and find balance again. In my work with both young adults and parents, I’ve seen that while the circumstances may differ, the underlying need is the same — to feel seen, supported, and held through life’s transitions.

That’s how Nurture and Bloom was born — a place for healing, rediscovery, and emotional growth for anyone navigating identity shifts, life transitions, or the tender, transformative seasons of parenthood throughout San Mateo and the SF Bay Area.
